These terms of use govern the use of the CargoDetect platform by the client — a person who wants to transport cargo and is looking for a suitable carrier. By using the platform, you agree to the terms below. Please read them carefully before using the service.
CargoDetect is a freight brokerage platform through which clients can find independent carriers to transport their cargo. The platform is operated and the service provided by Autoliit OÜ (also "we" or "the platform" below).
These terms apply to everyone who uses the CargoDetect platform as a client — i.e. submits transport requests and selects carriers. By using the platform, you confirm that you have read these terms and agree to comply with them.
If you submit requests on behalf of a legal entity, you confirm that you have the necessary authority to represent it.
CargoDetect is an intermediary platform whose sole function is to bring clients and independent carriers together. The platform provides the technical environment for submitting requests and comparing offers.
CargoDetect is not a carrier and does not itself provide transport services. Nor is CargoDetect a party to the transport contract.
The transport contract is concluded directly between the client and their chosen carrier. All agreements, rights and obligations relating to performing the transport arise between the client and the carrier, and CargoDetect is not a party to them.
CargoDetect only brokers the contact — you conclude the transport contract directly with the carrier you choose.
Submitting a request is free for the client. In a single request you describe the route (origin and destination), the cargo, and your contact details.
When submitting a request you must provide accurate and truthful information about both the cargo and yourself (name, phone, email). Inaccurate information may prevent carriers from making correct offers and performing the transport.
Submitting a request is confirmed by SMS, which sends a 6-digit confirmation code. A request has a validity period and closes on the agreed date.
You confirm that the cargo is lawful and does not contain prohibited, dangerous or restricted items whose transport would violate applicable law.
After a request is published, independent carriers can submit competing price offers (on a reverse-auction basis). You can compare the offers against each other and choose the one that suits you best.
CargoDetect does not guarantee that a request will receive offers, or that an offer will arrive within a set time — submitting offers depends on the interest and availability of independent carriers.
You are under no obligation to accept any offer. Choosing a carrier is entirely your free decision.
If you wish, you can also direct a request to a specific carrier from their public profile, and make it public if needed.
The transport contract is deemed concluded the moment you select a specific carrier's offer and agree with them on the terms of transport. From that moment, the terms of the transport contract between you apply, and CargoDetect is not responsible for them.
Using the platform and submitting requests is free for the client. CargoDetect does not charge the client a service fee or brokerage fee.
You pay for the transport directly to the carrier you chose, on the terms and in the manner you agree between yourselves. CargoDetect does not broker, hold or store payments and is not a party to the payment transaction.
The service fee to CargoDetect is paid by the carrier, only on the orders they win. The carrier pays this fee to the platform themselves, and it does not affect the transport price agreed between the client and the carrier.
As a client you pay only the carrier you chose — you pay the platform nothing.
By using the platform you undertake to:
You are responsible for the accuracy of all the information you submit and the content of your requests.
Because CargoDetect is only an intermediary platform and not a party to the transport contract, CargoDetect is not responsible, among other things, for:
The ratings, reviews, number of completed jobs and kilometres driven shown on a carrier's profile are informational. Some carriers may carry an administrator-assigned "Verified company" badge, but the platform does not check or guarantee any carrier's background, reliability or performance of the transport. Choosing and trusting a carrier is at the client's own risk.
CargoDetect provides the service on an "as is" basis and does not guarantee uninterrupted or error-free availability of the platform.
The data controller for personal data is Autoliit OÜ. We process your data in accordance with the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) and Estonian law.
We process the data necessary to submit a request (e.g. name, phone, email and cargo details) for the purpose of brokering contact with carriers and providing the platform service. Contact details are passed on to carriers who can make offers on your request, so that a transport contract can be concluded and the transport organised.
We do not sell your personal data to third parties.
You have the right to access your data, correct it, restrict its processing, and request its deletion to the extent provided by law. To submit a request, contact us at info@puksiir.net.
The platform may use cookies and similar technologies to ensure the service functions and to support the user experience.
If you use the platform as a consumer (a natural person acting outside their trade, business or profession), the rights arising from Estonian consumer protection law apply to you.
Because the transport contract is concluded between you and the carrier, the rights and obligations arising from it arise between you and the carrier, and as a consumer your claims arising from the transport contract are primarily against the carrier you chose.
If, as a consumer, you fail to resolve a dispute with a carrier by agreement, you have the right to turn to the consumer disputes committee operating at the Consumer Protection and Technical Regulatory Authority (ttja.ee).
CargoDetect has the right to amend these terms of use from time to time, for example in connection with changes to the service, legislation or business operations. The current terms are always available on the platform.
Changes take effect upon their publication on the platform, unless stated otherwise. Continued use of the platform after the changes take effect means you agree to the amended terms.
If any provision of these terms is found invalid, the remaining provisions remain in effect.
The law of the Republic of Estonia applies to these terms and to the use of the platform.
Disputes arising from the use of the platform will primarily be settled through negotiation. If no agreement is reached, the dispute will be settled in Harju County Court, taking into account the rights guaranteed by law to a user who is a consumer.
Disputes arising from the transport contract between the client and the carrier are settled between themselves and are not within CargoDetect's competence.
The platform is operated and the service provided by Autoliit OÜ.
